Daria's Sleep ("the app," "we," "us") is a sleep, growth, and routine tracker for babies and young children, used by parents and caregivers. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Daria's Sleep is intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, and caregivers) to track information about their children. It is not directed at children, and children do not create accounts or provide information directly — every piece of data in the app is entered by an adult caregiver.
Account information — the email address and password you sign up with. Passwords are stored as a one-way cryptographic hash; we never store or can see your actual password.
Child profile information — a child's name, birthday, and, optionally, sex and a display color. This is used to personalize age-appropriate recommendations and tell multiple children apart in a household.
Sleep and routine data — nap and bedtime start/end times, wake times, notes, and tags you log for a child.
Growth data — height/weight/head-circumference measurements you choose to log.
Travel plans — destination and date information you enter for the jet lag planning feature.
Caretaker invitations — if you invite someone (e.g. a co-parent, grandparent, or nanny) to share access to a child's data, we store the invited email address and the resulting access relationship.
Feedback you submit — the content of any feedback or bug report you send us through the app.
We do not sell your data or a child's data to anyone. Data is shared only:
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete a child's profile and all of its tracked data from the Settings screen at any time. You can also permanently delete your entire account and all associated data — including every child profile you own, sleep logs, growth entries, and caretaker access — from Settings → Account. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to a child's data requires authentication and is limited to the account owner and any caretakers explicitly invited to that specific child.
Daria's Sleep does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and is not directed at children under 13. All information in the app is entered by an adult caregiver about a child in their care.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users in the app.
